Strano Birthdays

The King’s herald spoke to the assembled nobles: “King Noah Strano and his father Elder Josiah have announced a grand realignment to concur with the King’s negative 20th birthday, which is also Elder Josiah’s 200th birthday.

“At that time, the countial and viscountial families of the realm will compete to be the most productive cultivating family amongst them. The best family will be granted liege lord status over two baronial families, and the 2nd best family will be granted one Baronial family under its care. The 3rd best will be a viscount family with no vassals of its own.

“In addition, the baronial families will be having their own competition. The best baron family will be promoted to countial and will gain one baronial family among their care. The Strano family will retain vassalship over the two best remaining baronial families.

“To illustrate the reallignment that is coming, the bureaucracy of cultivation statistics has prepared a ranking off the families as of this last year. The Baird countial family would be 1st place amongst the challengers with current cultivation stone production of 9030 white stones, 3380 green stones and 298 blue stones per year. At current exchange rates this is equivalent to 65,070 white stones.

“The Feddic family, with 9030 white stones, 2948 green stones and 298 blue stones (62,478 equiv) would be second, and the Bannowsky viscountial family would remain viscounts.

“The Pellegrim baronial family, currently vassals of the Baird family, would win the Baronial trials with 8540 white stones and 1193 green stones (15,698 equiv).

“The Guzman family (14,053 equiv) is the 2nd baron, remaining direct vassals of the Strano. The Moriarty family (14,050 equiv) and Cobllari family (13,972 equiv) would be 3rd and 4th barons, meaning they would both be reassigned as vassals of the Baird family. The McFerron family (11,824) would be vassals of Feddic family, and the Sokolsky family (10,995) would be vassals of the new countial Pellegrim family.

“Cultivate with dilligence and honor you may celebrate the dual birthdays of Noah and Josiah, the past and present kings of Strano, with joy, having claimed a high prize and honor for your family.”

Pronouncements of the King and his Council

  • As the Bannowsky family has barely surpassed the cultivator’s standard of the best baronial family, they will be considered a baronial vassal directly under the Strano family.
  • As the best of the baronial families, the Cobllari baronial family will be elevated to a countial family, and will no longer be vassals of the Feddic countial family.
  • As the best of the countial families, the Baird family will be liege-lord over the 2nd and 3rd ranked baronial families, which are the Moriarty and Pellegrin families.
  • As 2nd best of the countial families, the Feddic family will be liege-lord over the 4th rank baronial family, which is the Guzman family.
  • As the new countial family, the Cobllari family will be liege-lord over the 5th rank baronial family, which is the Sokolsky family.
  • The Strano family will be direct liege-lord over the 6th rank baronial family, the Mcferron family.
