Xian Nobles v2: Event Log, pt.1

ACE 0: 22 families. For some reason, white stone production is 4 per character, not 3.

ACE 1: 8 stones is not enough for even the awesome characters to train up.

ACE 2: The most talented cultivators in all the land achieve the first improved meridians.

#1 – Edmundo Sokolsky – 8 talent
#2-#4 – 3 cultivators with 7 talent (Nikiloi, Pruitt, Strano)

ACE 3: Many talent 5&6 cultivators also gain their first developed meridian. Edmundo is the first cultivator with 2 open meridians.

After ACE 3, the average family has 9.6 production.

ACE 4: The floodgates of cultivation are opening, for anyone of at least average talent. Average family production: 11.

ACE 5: The Sokolsky family, lead by Edmundo, are ahead of every other family with 4 meridians developed. Cultivators with 3 talent were able to develop their first meridian.

The runaway effect of superior talent leading to more meridians unlocked, leading to more production, leads to still more meridians unlocked. Sokolsky has 20 production, while Collari and Moriarty remain at 8, with both of their family members having 2 talent or less. Average family production rises to 13, but this is skewed by the top 4 families. Does it make sense to save 100 stones and roll the dice with another family member?

ACE 6: Edmundo Sokolsky becomes the first cultivator to open two meridians in the same year, leaping to 6 open meridians, while the three families with a 7 talent cultivator have 4 meridians each.

Both Collari and Moriarty have decided to save for a child, and will likely have the first two births.

ACE 7: The three chasers (7 talent) are at 5 open meridians and Sokolsky is at 8 after another double meridian year. Most of the lower and mid talent families had nothing to do but save this year. Average and Median family production are both 16.

ACE 8:  There was a lot of cultivation this year as the average production rose to 19, and both the Sokolsky and the 7-talent families double developed meridians.

ACE 9: Six and Seven talent cultivators enjoyed a double meridian year, while Edmundo developed 3 meridians in ACE 9, reaching 13 meridians in total. The streakiness of the best has finally pushed the average family production (22) above median family production (20).

Edmundo is getting close to the 100 power barrier as well, which will produce another surge in production.

ACE 10: Edmundo – 16 meridians. Average production: 25 stones. Not much of note.

ACE 11: 7 talent cultivators hit their first three meridian year, while Edmundo cultivated 4 meridians, taking him to 20 open meridians and 98.3 power. The 5 talent cultivators had their first double meridian year as well. The Collari and Moriarty families have 88 stones saved up.

ACE 12: Edmundo developed 6 meridians (save a few stones by buying multiple meridians at once and not rounding: 600 / 8 = 75), reached 110.2 power and 109 production, 26 meridians opened. The runaway effect with talent is strong. 109 production per turn gives 872 points of meridian opening power per turn.

ACE 13: Collari and Moriarty families have the first children. Nilda Collari, talent 3, and Cornell Moriarty, talent 4. The Talent 7 crew reached 100 power and 89 production each, and Edmundo completed his meridians (133 production), and began investing in his brother Aldo (talent 5). With the new births, there are now 46 cultivators.

ACE 14: The top four families are approaching 40% of overall production, and the first three, having 7-talent cultivators, developed 7 meridians, while Aldo Sokolsky also developed 7 with his brother’s abundant production. Neither of the new children had enough stones to develop their first meridians.

ACE 15: Nikiloi and Pruitt both have 7 talent cultivators and 5 talent siblings. They both completed their meridians and passed the torch to their younger siblings. Corey Strano’s sister Gita, however, is only 2 talent, so the Strano family may take a different approach. Aldo Sokolsky should have all his meridians opened in 2 more years. The stark family differences are already obvious: Sokolsky family has 188 stones production per year, while Collari and Moriarty families are at 10.

ACE 16: Quinton Strano born (talent 1). Bradley Strano born (talent 1). The Strano family is Corey (talent 7) and a bunch of talent 2 and talent 1 family members. Average production by family is 73, but the median is 52.

ACE 17: 6 talent cultivators have completed their meridians, while the Sokolsky family is completely developed. Travis Sokolsky is born, blessing the family with even more fortune, as he has 6 talent. Angelyn Strano, is another untalented family member, giving the Stranos as many children as the rest of the families combined. (Production – Sokolsky – 270, Moriarty 11).

ACE 18: The baby boom is continuing to steadily include new families: Dagnar Guzman (T3). Tomiko Strano (T3). The Sokolskys already have almost finished developing their third scion. The 5 talent cultivators are getting closer to completing their meridians, but several 5Ts have more talented siblings, so they started later but are catching up quick. The Stranos finally got someone of 3 talent. They’ve filled 3 out of 5 available groups for the family.

The Nikiloi and Pruitt families, each having a 7 talent and 5 talent cultivator, are just on the heals of the Sokolsky family, at 250 production to Sokolsky’s 283.

ACE 19: Napoleon Nikiloi (T5), Ha Pruitt (T2). Sokolsky has the first 3 member group, with three cultivators fully developed meridians at the first notch of white cultivation. That brings the family to 498 production vs Nikiloi’s 272. The Stranos actually didn’t have another child, choosing to develop Tomiko’s abilities. The Strano family has 6 members, no one else has more than 3.

ACE 20: Talent 5 cultivators (who lead their family) have finished their meridians. Jada Bannowsky (T2). Rhiannon Coble (T6). Burl Pruitt (T5). Kenneth Sokolsky (T6), Lisette Sokolsky (T2).

Family Progress

Leading families are nearing the completion of all level 1 target cultivation goals. This will lead to the first re-targeting to level 2 targets, and choices have to be made whether to develop more steeply, focusing on one or a few family groups, or developing more broadly for overall economic strength.

The mid-tier families are beginning to expand, and there is a shift as Stonewarden family has a lot of potential to rise into the higher group, other family shifts are happening as well.

Meanwhile, those families who started with 3 talent cultivators and below, as well as Collari and Moriarty, who spent their first 100 points on children, are way behind, still working to develop their first cultivator. Families with a best cultivator at 3 talent are just reaching the 100 power threshold and beginning to surge forward.

The threat of vassalization is still far off as 1m stones is a huge quantity when realm wide production is 13,708 white stones.

Sokolsky’s advantage is fading fast, as beyond Edmundo, they have a lot of solid but not great talents. They have a head start but the other families with a roster of 7,8 and even 10 talent studs have a great chance to surpass Sokolsky.

  1. Sokolsky – 1798 stones – high tier
  2. Nikiloi – 1502 stones – high tier
  3. Pruitt – 1481 stones – high tier
  4. Mcferron – 1012 stones – upper mid tier
